As a Maintenance technician, your duties will include servicing vacant units for new residents, completing service requests in vacant & occupied homes, grounds clean up, snow removal and being part of a 4 man on call rotation for emergencies. At least one-year experience in the following, apartment maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting & repair with an EPA certification is required, plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, carpentry, drywall repairs and painting. Must be located within 30 mins of community or willing to relocate. Excellent compensation, $1,000 sign on bonus and benefits for the right person. Come be part of a great team!

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Effectively handle residential service requests, correcting the situation within 24 hours when possible
• Assess and repair issues including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and interiors.
• Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, service requests, apartment make-ready status, work-in-progress, etc.
• Respond to on-call emergencies.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in residential property management
• Must be able to perform plumbing, electrical and HVAC repairs, as well as carpentry and locksmith skills, painting, dry-wall repair, and snow removal.
• Must be CFC certified.
• Must be available to handle on-call emergency services.
• Must have personal, reliable transportation to get to work in order to respond to on-call emergencies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
