We are a private, residential boarding school that serves individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. We are seeking a nurse to work part-time 3 evenings a week from 3:30-8pm.

CPR certification provided upon hire.

Minimum qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean criminal background (no felony convictions, no abuse, assault or neglect history).
• Be in good health and free of mental and/or physical limitations which would interfere in dealing appropriately with the client’s handicapping conditions and behavior disorders.

Essential Duties:

• Triage injuries/illnesses to determine the need for appropriate care.
• Administer medications as prescribed or recommended by KDS standing orders
• Monitor all clients, documenting administration of medications
• Transport students to clinic appointments

TB skin test and work physical required upon hire.
