Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer
Part-time:26 hrs weekly
Friday 4:00 pm to 1:30 am
Saturday 4:00 pm to 1:30 am
Sunday 4:00 pm to 12:00 am
Rate: $24/ hour to start
The Kinder Group is seeking qualified customer driven Security Officers for a flagship site located in Boston, MA. This highly visible role works closely with the concierge and staff and elevates the level of service and security provided to guests with professionalism and discretion.We are looking for individuals who are detail oriented, polished, reliable, articulate, strong collaborators and communicators. Stationed at the front desk in the building lobby, and serve as the primary point of contact for guests. Provide safety and security through professional interactions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Professional in demeanor and appearance
- Dependable and punctual
- Excellent oral, people skills and written communication skills
- Exceptional ability to assess and de-escalate adverse situations
- Ability to think quickly and efficiently when confronted with a client request
- Self-starter, motivated, takes initiative, and anticipates needs of others
- Team player
- Ability to stay positive in ever-changing circumstances
- Monitor security systems and camera, conducting visual property inspections, and maintaining reports of activity and escalating actions needed.
- Dress code - Must have suit and tie
- 2-3 years experience in hospitality, events, luxury retail and/or high-level customer service role
- Security experience preferred
- AED, CPR, and First Aid skills required; will train as needed
- Position requires standing for long lengths of time
