Outline:

The qualified candidate is customer service-oriented, kind, patient, polite, professional, and punctual. In addition, a Kind Room Budtender must:

• Be confident when checking ID’s and keep facility MED compliant at all times

• Understand and comply with all MED and State Rules & Regulations at all times

Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation

• Previous sales or retail experience (desired, not required)

• Basic math and computer skills

• A positive attitude and the ability to be flexible with change

• Problem-solving skills

• A clear outline of availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays

Job Requirements:

• Must have MED badge in hand at time of application

• Ability to learn, use and maintain point of sale system which includes scanning barcodes, cash handling, counting, and calculating discounts and/or promotion discounts

• Willingness to thoroughly learn products, and the ability to disperse correct information to customers

• Must understand and comply with all MED as well as State Rules & Regulations

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

• Must be able to lift & carry boxes of up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to bend and squat regularly as well as have repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and other parts of the body.

• Must be able to talk, see and use a computer for 4 hours or more

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Kindness, education, and customer service are our staple at The Kind Room- it's what keeps new patients and customers coming back

• Answering questions about products such as edibles, tinctures, creams, salves, dosage recommendations, flower recommendations, etc.

• Ability to process sales transactions and package items in an efficient, compliant, and personable manner

• Must be flexible to perform duties including regular cleaning, re-stocking, and display re-arrangement
