The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) complements the nursing staff in the total quality client/family coordination of care in a multidisciplinary method. The CNA provides direct client care that includes the holistic approach to the care of the child and family, including educational, psychosocial, behavioral, physical, mental, and emotional care and needs of the child. The CNA is responsible for providing personal care and fostering independence as indicated and caring for the child’s immediate environment.

The Kidz Club PPEC provides daily skilled nursing care for children, ages birth to under 21, who have been diagnosed with medical complexities. PPECs initiate daily conversation among pediatricians, therapists, and family, providing continuity of care through case management, skilled nursing, and enrichment for the betterment of the child.
