Position Overview:

The Kenific Group has a contract providing acquisition and technical support services to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Program Accountability and Risk Management (PARM). PARM provides support and oversight to the Component Acquisition Executive (CAE) office and Program Management Offices (PMO) of major and non-major systems acquisitions and is the primary point of contact within DHS for the acquisition review process. As part of this effort, we are looking to identify an Acquisition Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support PARM.

Responsibilities:

• Providing acquisition management subject matter expertise to PARM regarding the major and non-major acquisition programs within DHS.
• Attending internal meetings within PARM.
• Attending external meetings and collaborating with CAE offices, PMOs, and DHS Headquarters partners and stakeholders.
• Tracking and displaying metrics on key initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops with senior management teams.
• Leading branding efforts for the PARM Front Office.
• Coordinating policy reviews and updates across PARM.
• Comfort and familiarity with utilizing visualization tools to communicate policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience overseeing cost, schedule, and performance requirements of a DHS acquisition program. This experience may include serving as a Program or Project Manager with day-to-day oversight and management responsibilities.
• Experience with branding and communication.
• Experience reviewing and updating policies.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Work Location

Remote- The position is primarily remote. There will be the need for occasional travel to client offices in the Washington Metro Area.
