We are looking for an EXPERIENCED 2nd shift Hi-Lo Operator for our client in Kearny, NJ
Our client is a very busy food manufacturing company in Kearny NJ
Title: Hi-Lo Operator
Location: Kearny NJ
Hours: MUST be able to train on 1st shift for the first month.
Training: Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM (Could started earlier)
2nd shift: Mon-Fri 3PM-11PM
Pay: $18/HR
Duration: Temp to Hire
**this position does NOT require vaccination**
Candidate must be friendly, collaborative, intelligent, and hard working.

• Responsible for maintaining sanitation levels of work area.
• Perform and complete package quality checks and respond to problems, identify and handle off quality products and package supplies.
• Operate the production line equipment
• Troubleshoot production line issues to identify problems.
• Perform all assignments satisfactorily, safely, and maintain good attendance.
• Operate a forklift for warehouse, loading, receiving. Preferred not required
• Follow "Good Manufacturing Principles" and rules. Follow all SOP and GMP guidelines
• Maintain documents for processes as required by Quality and Operation systems.

Requirements

• 2 years MINIMUM of Hi-Lo experience
• Must have experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Must have experience as a production operator as well (20% of the time you will be acting as a production operator)
• Must be able to drive forklift in tight places
• Must have experience with loading trucks
• Must have some computer knowledge and RF scanner experience
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively In the English language
• Need to be safety conscious.
• Need to have the capability to work in a team environment.
• Must have Steel/Composite toe boots
• Lift up to 50 lbs
