The Kearney Companies is Hiring a Loader Operator Near Tampa, FL
SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced FINISH Loader Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, specifically loaders, to FINISH on a road crew. The Loader Operator will work closely with our team of construction professionals to ensure materials are moved safely and efficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Operate loader in a safe and efficient manner to move materials around construction sites
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles
- Perform and document daily pre-shift inspection and routine maintenance on loader, such as cleaning and lubrication
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with other members of the construction team to ensure materials are moved to the correct location
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a loader operator
- Knowledge of loader operation and maintenance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of weather conditions
- Must have and maintain and valid driver’s license and qualify for Company driver program.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
