Located in central and northern Pennsylvania, Juniata Valley Bank opened for business on August 5, 1867, well over 150 years ago! In the early years, we merged with other financial institutions and in more recent years acquired community banks to form what we are today – a financial institution with deep roots, progressive processes and products, accessible leadership, and above all else, an unwavering commitment to our people and the communities we serve.

Part-time Teller Responsibilities- Whether you want a change in career path or to get out of the house a few hours each week, a Part-time Teller position might be exactly what you are looking for! Many of our existing employees have started as a Part-time Bank Teller and worked their way into a Full-time Bank Teller, Customer Service Representative (CSR), Head Teller (Bank Teller Supervisor), and/or Bank Office Manager position. The primary responsibility of a Bank Teller is to become knowledgeable about Bank products and services in order to provide exceptional service to our customers. These services include performing a variety of financial transactions and account-related requests, including most commonly processing account deposits and withdrawals. As individuals progress in their knowledge, they are also able to cross-sell products, open accounts, sell certificates of deposit, open IRA accounts, etc.
