Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)
Location : Wentzville, MO
Shift : Third Shift (10 : 30 . - 6 : 30 ., including occasional weekends)
Maximum Pay : $33 / hour ($49.50 / hour for overtime hours which is past 40 hours per week)
Employment Type : Contract with potential for permanent hire
Qualifications :
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Either a 4-year degree or 5 years of related experience
- Experience supervising in a unionized environment is a plus
Responsibilities :
- Supervise a unit engaged in seat assembly and shipping
- Plan and organize work, ensuring compliance with operation description sheets and established priorities
- Maintain production records and related paperwork
- Monitor time and attendance
- Investigate work problems, recommend process improvements, and address production delays
- Ensure proper use and care of equipment; request repairs or replacements as needed
- Explain company policies and regulations to employees
- Foster effective personnel relationships and recommend changes in employee status
- Handle initial steps of employee grievances
Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Oversee hourly employees
