  • Identify and recommend state-of-the-art equipment and technologies that can be integrated into the production process to improve product performance, reliability, and yield.
  • Investigate and resolve process-related issues, such as defects, deviations, and inefficiencies, using root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ensure that all processes and equipment adhere to safety protocols and industry standards. Implement and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and equipment specifications. Create process manuals and train production staff on best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to ensure the smooth transition of new products from development to full-scale manufacturing.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the manufacturing engineering department, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and product performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field). A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in battery manufacturing processes, preferably in lithium-ion or other advanced battery technologies.
  • Strong understanding of materials science, and battery components.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software.
