Location: Hilliard, OH (Hybrid), Four Days in Office, One Day Remote.
Status: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000-$78,000

JOB SUMMARY
Productive Playhouse seeks a Human Resource Manager to lead our Hilliard, Ohio Facility. This role will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and termination procedures and embody a compassionate and supportive approach to HR management. They will possess a comprehensive set of skills and knowledge to effectively navigate the complex landscape of employment laws and regulations within the state and federally while prioritizing the well-being and satisfaction of our employees.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Contribute to organizational goals through strategic HR planning, workforce analytics, and employee relations.
  • Ability to foster diversity and inclusion principles, cultural sensitivity, and strategies for promoting a respectful and inclusive workplace environment.
  • Resolve disputes and conflicts among employees or between employees and management through mediation, negotiation, or other conflict resolution techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of HR-related activities, including personnel files, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and compliance records, in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with laws and regulations, including recent legislation and court rulings that may impact HR practices, ensuring organizational compliance.
SKILLS
  • Strong communication skills are required to interact effectively with employee management, as well as the ability to convey complex HR policies and concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong benefits management skills
  • Ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals and develop strategic HR plans to address current and future workforce needs while considering legal compliance and business objectives.
  • Emotional intelligence, including empathy, self-awareness, and relationship management. Understanding and responding to employees' needs, fostering trust, and building strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Understanding cultural nuances and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds can foster inclusivity and equity in the workplace, promoting a positive organizational culture.
  • Data analysis and the ability to derive actionable insights from HR metrics to support evidence-based decision-making, workforce planning, and performance management initiatives.
  • Experience and expertise in change management methodologies can facilitate smooth transitions during organizational changes or major HR initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption to employees.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in facilitating training programs that ensure compliance with workplace regulations, safety standards, and harassment prevention training.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to manage employee data and generate reports to ensure compliance and support decision-making.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information and legal matters.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in human resources management.
  • HR certifications such as HRCI-PHR or SHRM-CP are preferred.
