As a Dynamics and Controls Engineer, you will: * Provide analysis in the areas of dynamics using physics based modeling and simulation.
* Create mathematical models including Matlab and Simulink. * Resolve any design or production related manufacturing issues that arise unexpectedly in a timely manner. * Interact with internal customers to meet Technical, Schedule, and Budget needs. Why You'll Want This Job:

* This position is a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely, so there is plenty of support for new staff onboarding and project team collaboration. * You'll get to work on Research and Development projects to conceptualize and create the latest technology. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in Dynamics and Controls and 2 years relevant experience * We may consider candidates with less experience for a more junior role or more experience for a more senior role
* Experience in design, analysis, simulation and development of physical system models
* Solid understanding of underlying principles of applied mathematics and vehicle dynamics
* Experience in analysis and simulation with Matlab / Simulink
* Excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Ph.D. degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in Dynamics and Controls
* Active secret security clearance
* Experience modeling and simulating vehicles, engines, electric motors, batteries and component controls
* Autonomous vehicle system experience is preferred
* Proven record of problem solving and helping the company to meet its customer demands Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
