We are a group of hardworking, dedicated engineers and scientists focused on bringing capabilities to the Space Force. Our team values integrity as a trusted organization above all. We are seeking a Space Systems Engineer to help us make next generation DoD space systems a reality! While supporting the US Space Force and their Space Systems Command (SSC), you will turn payload concepts into reality by guiding activities from concept development through operational acceptance. You will identify novel concepts and capabilities to prototype and demonstrate as the systems mature and become operational. As a member of our team in El Segundo, you'll contribute to multiple efforts supporting SSC, including concept development, modeling and simulation, and testing.

Base pay will take into account the selected candidate's knowledge, experience, skill and/or abilities with consideration for internal parity. APL may offer bonuses or other forms of compensation per internal policy and/or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be provided in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, locality allowance or discretionary payments for exceptional performance. APL provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement plans, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, part-time study and training and development. Base pay range for this role: $90,000 - $220,000.
