The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati is Hiring a Camp Counselor Near Cincinnati, OH
- Hourly pay starts at $10.50 per hour!
- Approximately 35 hours per week
- No late nights and NO WEEKENDS
- Complimentary individual membership to the Mayerson JCC Fitness Center. Discounts to the onsite JCafe.
- Follow all Camp at the J and JCC policies and procedures
- Participate in staff training sessions and orientation prior to the start of Camp and attend weekly meetings
- Implement routines, schedules, and procedures for the operation of the camp
- Assist with instructional swim and recreational swim as directed
- Responsible for the safety and well-being of the campers
- Share in the implementation of age-appropriate activities
- Share responsibility for the care of unit equipment, and cleanliness of Camp facilities with other staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum 16 years of age
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Previous camp experience a plus
- Enthusiasm, positive attitude, upbeat sense of humor, patience, and love of fun
- Desire and ability to work and play with children
- Ability to take guidance and supervision
- Team player
