Job description
Twin Cities Home Builder Now Hiring Apprentice Carpenters! No experience required. Paid on the job training. Work is year round, pay is competitive, and we offer a full benefit package. We build homes throughout the Twin Cities, and station crews accordingly so driving is minimized for our workers. Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Construction of new homes, single family homes, multi-unit homes and townhomes
- Wood framing, prefabricated wood framing, stick framing
- Setting of walls and trusses
- Installation of doors and windows
- Weatherproofing
- Interior trim and finish work
- Installation of cabinetry, railings, base, casing, molding, etc.
- Proper & safe usage of hand tools and power tools
- Precise measurement and accuracy
- Follow safety guidelines while on job sites or working in a shop
- Hauling of material and tools
- Demolition
- Site clean up
- Work on ladders, scaffolding, and at heights equivalent to three stories when applicable
- Build exterior decking and stairs
- Work on ladders and lifts when applicable
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
- Display a positive attitude and team effort
- Reliable transportation daily to and from job site
- Possession of work boots, tool belt and hand tools when applicable
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willingness to work outside in varying temperatures and elements when applicable
- Willingness to participate in any/all safety training required for the position
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly wage and overtime opportunity
- Monday - Friday Schedule 7 am - 3:30 pm

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour starting wage DOE
