For more information, visit us at We currently have an opening for the following position: Job Title: Product Development Coordinator Job Summary: The Product Development Coordinator is responsible for project assignments including sourcing, product development (NOT DESIGN), sample production, communication and negotiations with factories overseas. Responsibilities:
Coordinate the product development process from beginning to end
Review and become familiar with product specifications on assigned projects
Evaluate and negotiate job costs
Coordinate with various departments (Sales, Marketing, and Creative) to fulfill contract requirements
Determine project material requirements and source materials as necessary
Review manufacturing procedures and related documents
Revise and reschedule orders to compensate for rush order priorities, material shortages or any other changes
Establish manufacturing lead time to meet delivery dates for new orders
Determine product packaging and shipping requirements
Requirements:
Los Angeles-based, in-office, M-F
Two years of college with an AA Degree or relevant work experience
Minimum of two years of product development experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) products
Product development experience in dinnerware, tabletop, cookware, or ceramic products preferred
Experience in handling projects with China factories
Excellent negotiating skills with the ability to speak with overseas factories, negotiating "best price" on all products
Strong follow-up and project management skills to keep up with deadlines
Good organizational skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Computer proficiency required, MS Word, Excel
