The Iowa Clinic is Hiring an ASC OR RN (Full-Time) Near Waukee, IA
- Delivers patient care consistent with established professional nursing standards and surgery center policies and practices.
- Gather pertinent medical history and provide concise instruction for pre-operative and post-operative care while maintaining pace of abbreviated patient encounters and keeping patient flow in mind.
- Provides discharge instructions to patients including, but not limited to, diet, activity, medication reconciliation, and obtaining a post-operative appointment, if needed.
- Assures patient received copy of discharge instructions.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa.
- BLS Certifications (American Heart Association)
- Two years nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Specialty specific and ambulatory surgery experience is preferred.
- Advanced knowledge in critical care practice
