Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. As a Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our residents. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Monitor and document changes in residents' physical and mental well-being
- Ensure residents' safety and well-being at all times
- Encourage resident participation in social and recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
Skills:
- Familiarity with resident rights and regulations
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to provide personalized care to each resident
- Understanding of social work principles and practices
- First aid and CPR certification is desirable
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
