WHY BRIDGE CREEK INN...

Bridge Creek Inn is seeking an energetic and experienced individual to oversee and manage our Front Office and Housekeeping Departments.

This individual will be responsible for working with other department heads to manage day-to-day rooms operations in keeping with IRHG standards.

Directly responsible for guest satisfaction and driving continuous improvement processes in each department and hotel wide.

Assesses hotel operational needs, proactively plans, and prepares for exceptional guest service, reviews operational excellence requirements with department heads and implements / evaluates programs for continued success.

This team member will participate in total hotel management activities as a member of the Hotel Management Team.

THE ROLE

The Bride Creek Inn is seeking a motivated, and energetic individual to lead the Maintenance Department and be the onsite leader of building, equipment, and grounds condition of the hotel.

This individual will focus on guest and associate satisfaction, expense control, and product quality in contribution to the overall goals of the hotel.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to :

  • Perform maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel.
  • Supervise and provide leadership to maintenance workers to service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed.
  • Completes all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.
  • Visually inspect public areas and overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of the hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests; Practice chemical safety rules and follows procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.
  • Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the General Manager.
  • Follow all Lost and Found protocols.
  • Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with the guest.
  • Ability to order supplies, to receive instructions for the day and / or to read equipment manuals including safety information

Located on historic Main Street Clayton, Bridge Creek Inn will feature 45-guest rooms, a coffee shop, a bar & restaurant, and multiple indoor / outdoor event venues.

Best known for its mountains, rivers, and lakes, let our hotel be your basecamp for all Rabun County has to offer.

WHAT TO EXPECT. IN THE LODGE, RESTAURANT, & ROOMS Your schedule may vary (days, nights, weekends, holiday’s) based on seasonality, covers, and hours of operation but in general you can expect to work 55 to 60.
