Seeking a part-time maintenance associate to assist on a regular basis in the maintenance and repair of a two apartment communities in Halifax County.

Position utilizes skills to perform preventive maintenance and basic corrective repairs of building systems and grounds. Monitors building operations and maintains buildings and grounds as directed by the Property Manager.

Position utilizes several basic skillsets as needed such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling. Position troubleshoots emergency issues while assisting in coordinating and monitoring resources and resolutions. Potentially operating lawnmowers, weed trimmers, leaf blowers and other ground maintenance equipment to maintain landscaping, and collects litter and garbage from property grounds. Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed.

Participates in “on-call” assignments as management assigns. Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $15/hour

Candidates must be comfortable with computers and electronic communication (email, text, etc.)

Candidates must be able to clear background checks

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
