Position Summary
Handles, moves, loads, and unloads materials.
1st Shift- 7:30AM to 3:30PM
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or using a variety of material handling equipment
• Loads materials into vehicles for transit
• Participates in replenishment, put-aways, moves, shipping and receiving
• Counts, weighs, and confirms materials moved or handled on daily basis
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, other containers
• Maintain storage areas and carry out general warehouse duties
• Provide on the job training to new/junior material handling staff
• Transport recycling materials to end destination when bins are full
• Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements
• Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in timely and accurate manner
• Work overtime as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications of Position

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), four plus years of relevant industry experience or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager's approval to hire full-time
• Basic computer skills including email, basic mouse, keyboard and menu navigation
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and measurement
• Ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions
• Ability to become forklift certified.

Preferred Qualifications of Position

• 1 plus years of experience driving a forklift
• 1 plus years of experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution and/or fulfillment

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping
• Frequent standing for prolonged periods of time
• Frequent walking
• Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds
• Ability to visually inspect all work for defects
• Manual dexterity for repetitive work
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
• Able to load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, and by hand

The national pay range for this role is $15.50- $19.00/hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program.
