The IMA Group is seeking to hire a detail-oriented Medical Report Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist, for the Albany, New York location. This is an entry level position and a great opportunity to join a growing company!

Medical Terminology, Microsoft software knowledge and typing skills are required.

Starting salary is $18 per hour.

Specific duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to-

• Review independent medical exam reports for errors and omissions.
• Review independent psychological exam reports for errors and omissions.
• Assist in providing feedback to new providers on report structure.

EDUCATION

Required- High school or GED equivalent.

Preferred- Background in medical terminology.

Preferred- Two years of experience or education related to medical or legal field. LPN Preferrable.

EXPERIENCE

Required- Background in medical terminology and report processing

Preferred- Two years' experience within claims environment as LPN.

Preferred- Experience in Workers Compensation, No Fault, Claims or Disability insurance.
