The IMA Group is looking for an Accounts Payable (AP) Processor/Data Entry Clerk for the Tarrytown office. The AP Processor/Data Entry Clerk will be a key member of the accounting team. Key responsibilities include entering, analyzing and reconciling hospital bills/invoices.

The rate for this role is between $21-22/hour.

Essential Job Responsibilities-

• Manage AP process – invoice entry, and hospital bills.
• Handle high volume of hospital invoices.
• Code hospital invoices to the appropriate account.
• Ensure AP policies and procedures comply with company guidelines.
• Communicate with hospital vendors.
• Identify and research pricing and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain hospital vendor files.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

Education-

Required: HS Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Associate degree
Experience-
Required: 1 year of professional experience.
Required: Moderate Excel Skills.
Required: Comfortable with computers and systems.
Preferred: Some experience in Accounts Payable

Qualifications-

• Must be highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time, this role is very hands on and requires someone who will -roll up their sleeves
• Must have excellent communications skills and the ability to develop relationships
• Moderate Excel skills and high comfort level with computers and systems
• Must be able to work within tight deadlines
• Prior computer experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL is a plus!
