This position is for a new African/American fusion restaurant in Richardson Texas. This job does require weekends and Possible double shifts. You will be able to supplement your Floor Manager income with bar shifts. Our venue offers a 15% gratuity on top of tips .

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Floor Manager to join our team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, possess strong leadership skills, and excel in team management.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Manage and train staff on service standards, product knowledge, and company policies
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Supervise and motivate team members to achieve performance goals
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally

- Able to run the bar

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food industry
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and service is a plus
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead a team effectively and maintain a positive work environment
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and culinary practices
- Experience in interviewing and training staff for service excellence
