Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated and compassionate Sales Associate to join our team at The HUB Shop. The Sales Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs smoothly and delivers an excellent shopping experience to our customers. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers with a warm and friendly attitude.

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.

Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.

Provide information about the organization's mission and programs to customers when asked.

Assist in receiving and sorting donated items.

Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals.

Uphold store policies and procedures, including safety protocols.

Assist in pricing and tagging merchandise.

Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and requests in a courteous and helpful manner.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Reliable and punctual.

Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and move items for extended periods.

Schedule: This position offers part-time hours to start with the ability to move to a more full time position as movement occurs. General working hours are within the hours of 7:00am -6:00 pm weekdays and weekends. There are occasional late evening shifts and flexibility and reliable transportation are a must.

The HUB offers $15.74 to start with room for advancement , generous vacation and paid holidays, employee perks, SIMPLE IRA matching and other benefits. Some are only available after probationary periods are past.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $15.74 - $16.00/hour.
