The HR Team is Hiring a Settlement Analyst Near Baltimore, MD

A&L Foods, located in suburban Baltimore Maryland, has a full-time opportunity for a meticulous and reliable Settlement Analyst to be a pivotal part of our expanding team.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Pay range: $18-23/hr depending on experience. This is a full-time position reporting to the Account Receivable Manager.

The successful candidate must work well with numbers and be proficient with and enjoy detailed work. This person will be required to perform data entry on a computer, a proficient knowledge of Excel is needed. The candidate must also be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Also, the ability to work well with other departments and supervisors. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter who is customer service oriented, has strong accuracy, detail orientation and organizational skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry level candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily settlement activities.
  • Compile and record sales invoices.
  • Verify accuracy of data, including prices, quantities, and dates.
  • Resolve discrepancies as they are discovered.
  • Responsible for organizing and analyzing data from available data sources to support reporting, projects and initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all settlements
  • Ensure timely settlement of all activity and report any delays or issues to relevant parties.
  • Liaising with internal departments and other third parties to resolve settlement issues.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Other duties as needed/assigned.

What You Need:

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and interpersonal, and the ability to discuss technical issues with non-technical staff.
  • Experience with data entry and record keeping.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with Microsoft accounting software is a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
