The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is Hiring a Barback Near Houston, TX
The Barback supports the Bar and Patio bartender and server teams by ensuring that bar supplies are fully stocked at all times, dishes, glasses bar tools, counters, work areas, and bar and patio furniture are clean and sanitized and floors and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned throughout the service period. Trash must be frequently cleared, and the facilities are reset for the next shift.
Must be 18 years old or older and have basic knowledge of bar menu items and recipes (different types of beers and mixed drinks). Additionally, this position requires flexibility to work during evenings, weekends and holidays, based upon the needs of the operation.
High school diploma or equivalent and previous entry-level experience in a bar or restaurant is not required but is strongly preferred.
