Our 44-room Boutique Hotel is looking for a team-centric, enthusiastic, and detail oriented leader to bridge the gap between our Front Office and Housekeeping team to successfully meet and exceed company cleanliness standards and intentionality for the perfect first impression for our guests. This hands-on candidate will lead our housekeepers through their day-to-day operations, leading daily meetings amongst staff, supporting team members throughout their shifts alongside full-room cleaning as the shift progresses and tracking and executing inspections in a timely manner for our guest check-in period. Our ideal Housekeeping Supervisor would find value in the details, and think ahead by creating long-term cleaning plans to care for our property while investing time and energy to create and nurture a positive and goal-oriented housekeeping team.

$20 - $21 hourly

• Onboarding Training housekeepers on brand standards, safety protocols and daily tasks regarding guest rooms and public spaces.
• Working alongside Hotel Management to oversee a team of 5-10 housekeepers- guiding them throughout their shift ensuring timeliness, cleanliness, and reinforcement training of standards when unmet.
• Tracking Housekeepers individual progress month over month to see where there is room for improvement in
• cleaning protocols personal development.
• Inspecting Guest Rooms daily alongside Guest Experience staff to ensure intentionality and beautification
• standards are met in addition to baseline cleanliness by anticipated guest arrival time.
• Leading daily and/or weekly meetings or “pre-shifts” to establish daily goals, gather feedback from staff
• motivate the team for increased employee morale and productivity
• Establishing and maintaining cleanliness and organization in all back-of-house areas, including Laundry,
• Housekeeping Carts, Storage Closets etc.
• Communicating with Front Office Management to ensure minimums on cleaning products and guest room
• items are met and orders are placed accordingly
• Ensure compliance with Safety and Sanitary policies in all guest facing and back of house areas where
• applicable

• A High school diploma or GED is required
• Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment
• The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills

This 44-room boutique Salem hotel is in the middle of the action on the bustling Essex Street pedestrian mall in the city center. It is home to two restaurants including Salem's only seasonal rooftop bar as well as multiple event spaces.
