The Charge Registered Nurse / RN assists with all invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures in non-invasive cardiology and Cath Lab. Charge Registered Nurse / RN participates in circulating and patient management of stable and critical Cardiovascular patients. Charge Registered Nurse / RN maintains patients hemodynamic stability and intervenes if instability occurs. Charge Registered Nurse / RN assess, develops treatment options and initiation of plan of care that incorporates the patient and support system.

Qualifications

Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)

Required: 1 year RN experience.

Required:

• Current RN / Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas or compact state required
• BLS certification
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC or equivalent preferred for experienced critical care RN’s. RN’s with more than 1 year of experience should obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
• New RN/GN, ACLS, PALS within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC and ENA approved triage course within 18 months of Hire.
