THE HOSPITAL AUTHORITY OF MILLER COUNTY is Hiring a NURSE TECH- MILLER COUNTY HOSPITAL WOUND CARE DEP- PRN Near Colquitt, GA

Ready to love where you work? The Hospital Authority of Miller County includes Miller County Hospital, Miller Nursing Home, Calhoun Nursing Home and other organizations that utilize clinical and non-clinical skillsets. 

Our facility is in need of a PRN Nurse Tech at Miller County Hospital Wound Care Department.

JOB SUMMARY: 

Assist professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas to patients. Duties to be performed under the supervision of a licensed nurse once nurse tech has completed orientation to the Wound Care unit, and been deemed competent and completed all skills check offs.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school graduate; completed first semester of nursing program; in good academic standing and approved by school of nursing to work or nursing student in nursing school or nursing graduate waiting to take boards.
  • For those nursing students in nursing program or graduates waiting to take boards, a license is required within 60 days of graduation.
  • Must maintain AHA or Red Cross affiliated CPR certification.
