The Hollywood & Vine Recovery Center (HVRC) is a nonprofit organization that offers DHCS Certified Outpatient Recovery Programs and Intensive Outpatient Programs which balance the need for substance use disorder care and the client’s need for meaningful and productive engagement with the world. At HVRC, we aim to maintain a safe space for all humans to heal and recover from their alcoholism/addiction, emotional health suffering, and mental health suffering. Our services focus on clients of all genders, and we specialize in marginalized recovery programs for the Black, Latino, LGBTQ , and People of Color populations.
We are seeking a per diem Medical Director to join our IOP start-up team.
Cultural competence and ability to demonstrate respect for cultural and lifestyle diversity of both clients and staff is a requirement for the ideal candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to join our team. As the Medical Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and approving client treatment plans developed by therapists and counselors, determining medical necessity of services, and provide input and guidance to HVRC staff as needed. This is a leadership position that reports directly to the CEO. Candidate must be a licensed physician (Medical Board of California) with clinical work experience. Knowledge of substance use disorders (SUD) is required.
