Job Summary

Assumes lead role in operational project analysis and management. Position interacts with all levels of management to provide analysis and recommendations for the achievement of the Department operational goals and to support the organization's strategic plan.
Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated projects. A wide degree of creativity and flexibility is expected. Familiar with a variety of operational, accounting, quality improvement and budget concepts, practices, and procedures.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinates, prepares and analizes projects in order to meet Department operational, quality, and strategic goals. - 20%

  • Prepare strategic analysis for Senior Management and Physician Leadership for their approval and direction. \u2013 20%

  • Responsible for the ongoing analysis of initiatives identified by Leadership and other strategic initiatives to assure compliance and achievement of goals. - 15%

  • Provides support to the Director, Practice Operational Manager and Executive Team, Operational Analysis and Planning, as needed. \u2013 15%

  • Enhances professional growth and development through such activities as providing support for department analyst and coordinators. - 15%

  • Attends meetings as required, and participates on committees as directed. - 5%

  • Able to run a team or meeting and ability for independent decision making. - 5%

  • Strong understanding of Process Improvement Tools. - 5%

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting , Finance or Business

  • 5 years of experience in Operations and Finance

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel

  • Proficient computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, database)

  • Data entry skills

  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)

  • Mathematical skills
