The Hire Mark is recruiting a Billing Manager for a Home Health Agency in Los Angeles.

This is a full time role with benefits.

Job Description:

Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Revenue Cycle and Billing Director to oversee the billing and revenue cycle management for our healthcare comapny. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare billing, possess excellent leadership skills, and be capable of managing a team to ensure accurate and timely billing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing Operations:

Supervise and lead a team of billing specialists responsible for processing claims and invoices.

Ensure accurate coding and submission of all home health services provided to patients.

Review and verify all billing documentation for compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements.

Revenue Cycle Management:

Monitor and analyze the revenue cycle to identify areas for process improvement and optimization.

Develop and implement strategies to reduce claim denials and improve cash flow.

Manage accounts receivable, track outstanding balances, and follow up on unpaid claims.

Compliance and Regulations:

Stay up-to-date with healthcare billing regulations, such as Medicare and Medicaid billing rules.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare data privacy laws.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Reporting and Analytics:

Generate regular reports on billing performance, revenue collection, and accounts receivable aging.

Use data analysis to identify trends, revenue leakage, and areas for process enhancement.

Training and Team Development:

Train and mentor billing staff to maintain a high level of competence and productivity.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the billing department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field (preferred).

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare billing, preferably in home health.

Knowledge of healthcare billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).

Strong understanding of insurance claims processing and reimbursement.

Proficiency in billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare billing.
