Our beachfront hotel is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service at the front desk, checking guests in and out, and responding to inquiries and complaints. This is a seasonal part-time position that requires availability during weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
We are a growing business with multiple hotels on the Jersey Shore and are looking to grow internally. There are opportunities for this role to grow into a long term position.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they arrive and provide a warm and welcoming experience
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures in an efficient and accurate manner
Respond to guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest requests are fulfilled
Maintain an organized and clean front desk area, porches, and any other area assigned
Assist with other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager
Set up complimentary beverages in the morning
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or a related field preferred
Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Proficient in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems
Available to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
