The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing military medicine. We serve military, medical, academic and government clients by administering, managing, and supporting preeminent scientific programs that benefit members of the armed forces and civilians alike. Since its founding in 1983, HJF has served as a vital link between the military medical community and its federal and private partners. HJF is seeking a Program Analyst I to support Strategic Information (SI) Team within the U.S. Military HIV Research Program (MHRP) located at Rockledge office in Bethesda, MD. HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to MHRP.

The Program Analyst I use analytic abilities, project management skills, and content knowledge to ensure high-quality ongoing technical support for country offices, by monitoring work plan implementation and achievement of programmatic targets and activities. They will be monitoring, evaluating, and overseeing site activities under the prevention, care, and treatment initiatives supported in Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda by the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), U.S. Military HIV Research Program (MHRP) through the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The Program Analyst support an assigned country program portfolio based on ongoing data analysis and comprehensive knowledge of the overall country and geographic context in addition to the country-specific HIV/AIDS epidemiology.
