Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets customer expectations
- Assist with menu planning and recipe development
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Supervise and train other kitchen staff as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Skills:
- Leadership: Ability to lead a team of kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations
- Restaurant: Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and customer satisfaction
- Catering: Experience in catering events and managing large-scale food production
