We are looking for a fun, compassionate licensed nurse to join our extraordinary team of nurses. Our 5 Star facility on beautiful, scenic Green Lake in Seattle is close to public transportation. 

We currently have full-time weekend shifts opening in our Assisted Living Community for a Medication Nurse. We also have on call positions - all shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring quality of life and care for all residents and functions as part of interdisciplinary team in providing resident care.

Essential Functions Statements:

• Makes rounds on all residents as needed.
• Collects pertinent subjective and objective data regarding the health status of residents. .
• Delegates and monitors implementation of nursing process to appropriate staff. 
• Communicates in a timely manner significant changes in resident’s status to appropriate members of the health care team. 
• Assures accurate count of all narcotics by shift. 
• Assures new orders are transcribed correctly and necessary medications are requested from pharmacy in timely manner. 
• Reports all incidents and notifies appropriate individuals.
• Reports all incidents of abuse, suspected abuse, and negligence. 
• Monitors and responds to emergencies as delegated by Director of Assisted Care Services.
• Participates in assessment, problem solving, resident care conferences and discharge planning processes.
• Supervises Nursing Assistants. 

Qualifications

• Excellent critical thinking and nursing judgement
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Successful completion of Nursing School
• Current Washington Licensed Nurse license (RN/LPN)
• Current CPR Certification
• One year of nursing experience
