The HealthCare Connection is a non-profit provider of primary health, behavioral health and basic dental services for the underserved, uninsured and underinsured of Northern Hamilton County. We are the first federally qualified health center (FQHC) in the state of Ohio and one of the earliest established in the entire United States. Today, we remain a leader in providing affordable, quality care to all ages and cultures.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Work with the Director of Development in executing the fundraising and communications goals of the organization. Assist with carrying out comprehensive marketing, outreach and development plans including special event coordination, written communications, on-line strategies, advocacy campaigns, social media and traditional marketing tactics.

The most successful candidate in this position will be adept at communicating impact to a wide variety of audiences via written word (website, social media, brochures) as well as being highly efficient in managing the annual fundraising campaigns.

In addition, you will have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or Public Relations
1-3 years of experience in a marketing and/or community relations position
Nonprofit experience is plus.
FQHC or Hospital experience preferred.
Knowledge of donor database management (such as eTapestry)
Experience with communication, public relations and list-building tools.
Experience with graphic design/design software, social media marketing for business, and Website Administration (i.e. WordPress, MailChimp and Canva)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) preferred
Exceptional writing/communication skills
Superb attention to detail
Demonstrated passion for THCC’s mission and values exemplified through work experience, leadership opportunities or community involvement.
