Job Description
The Healing Center is looking for a full-time Front Desk and Functional Medicine Assistant Rock Star!
The Healing Center Denver is a functional medicine practice owned and run by Dr. Marie Starling. We specialize in autoimmune disease, hypothyroid, IBS and celiac, diabetes, and fatigue using a broad spectrum of tools with amazing results for our patients.
You must have a critical-thinking mindset and the ability to be in a generative state to thrive in this fast-paced and complex environment. We work hard and have fun at the same time.
We are seeking a detail-oriented front desk and functional medicine assistant to be in charge of all front desk duties.
This list includes but is not limited to:
-answering phones/emails
-checking patients in and out
-processing all patient payments
-selling payment packages to patients
-scheduling and managing doctor(s) schedule
-calling referrals to establish partnerships
-organize and prepare patient charts
-set up patients for therapies
-take notes during new patient exams and customized protocol visits
-closing the office each day
-keeping the office clean and orderly
Qualifications:
-You MUST love alternative medicine/functional medicine/chiropractic as it is your job to be able to communicate with patients about what we do.
-Experience with some or all of these duties is helpful as the training window is small but ultimately we are looking for the right fit in our small and family-like practice!
-The right candidate will have excellent time management skills, be self-motivated and reliable, keep cool under pressure, enjoy being around people all day, be adaptable to constant procedure improvements, be interested in self-development and growth, and can go with the flow in all situations!
We are looking for someone to start immediately. Pay begins at $20-23 per hour. Hours are Mon/Wed/Thurs from 9:30am-6:30pm, Tuesday and Friday is 9am-4pm.
