The Hayes Company is seeking a Spray Foam Technician for full time employment spraying foam insulation in Commercial and Residential construction projects who are looking to be part of a team and grow within a successful insulation subcontractor.

Responsibilities

• Understand and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly

• Installing spray foam insulation in houses, apartments, hotels and commercial buildings including: Closed Cell Spray Foam Insulation, Open Cell Spray Foam Insulation, Low pressure Can Foam for smaller cracks and crevices

• Loading Spray Foam Barrels from Warehouse to Truck using forklift

• Construct scaffolding or ladders as needed

• Deploying hose up to 150 foot long that weighs up to 60 pounds to jobsite

• Using painter’s plastic to wrap and protect finish surfaces on the job.

• Able to safely drive vehicle alone or with a crew member to job site.

• Able to follow driving directions to new subdivisions

• Understand principles of building science in order to apply knowledge in installation

• Run Quality Control Pre-checks on material and environmental factors to ensure properly mixed spray foam

• Run Quality Control after installation including density or yield tests. Check for missing areas.

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance on Spray Foam Equipment to ensure peak performance and equipment longevity.

• Troubleshoot spray foam equipment as needed to repair problems and malfunctions and return to operations

Skills / Qualifications

• Must have transportation to and from work.

• Must have a driver's license

• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects continually throughout the day. This is extremely physically demanding work

• Understand job instructions and record materials to work order

• Installers must be able to work in tight places or in high places from ladders or scaffolding

• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs

• Climb ladders and scaffolding repeatedly

• Frequently bend, twist and turn body at shoulders, waist and knees with spray hose in hand

• Detail oriented and cautious. Jobsites can be dangerous if one is not aware of surroundings.

• Must be able to work independently or with a team member.

Experience Required:

• Experience with repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment

Experience Recommended:

• Experience with Spray Foam Insulation

• Experience with Graco H-30 or similar model preferred but not required
