Billing specialist – Denial Management
Fully Remote Position
The Hamill Group is a revenue cycle company assisting both Medical and Behavioral Health providers across the nation, with their revenue cycle tasks. Currently, THG is looking for a denial management specialist, who is an expert in identifying trends in the AR and working with the insurance companies for full resolution of claims.
What You’ll Do
· Follow up on open claims to ensure timely submission before insurance deadlines.
· Manage and resolve denials and outstanding AR.
· Call insurance when necessary to determine the reason for denial and reprocess claims.
· Identify trends within the AR and report to leadership.
· Call patients regarding outstanding balances.
· Verify Insurance benefits and determine patient out-of-pocket cost.
Must Haves
· Minimum of 2-years experience working denial management.
· Ability to work regularly scheduled hours.
· Customer Service Experience.
