Daily responsibilites include:
Hiring ASAP! ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, VEHICLE & INSURANCE. DSP candidates must be able to assist a 16 year old young man with Autism. Must be able to transport him to recreational outings and accompany him. Must be empathetic and compassionate. Assist with daily tasks, may require cooking and serving meals, light cleaning assist with self-administration of medication, laundry, complete ADL's. Must be available _ Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 10:00am-2:00pm_
Skills/Education: Must have high school diploma or GED. Experience working with people that have Developmental Disabilities is preferred.
Training provided in following areas: First Aid/CPR certified, self-administered medication certification. We are willing to train and certify. Must be able to pass background check, have 2 valid forms of identification and diploma or GED.
