The Growing Place is Hiring an Early Childhood Teacher Near Central, SC

```Duties```
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities for young children
- Create and maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development
- Provide individualized instruction and support to meet the needs of each child
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support student learning and development
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills

```Requirements```
-High school diploma
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting- a plus
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences for children
- Familiarity with literacy education, physical education, and curriculum development
- Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans
- Experience with tutoring or providing individualized instruction is a plus
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred
