Job Summary:
The Med Tech at The Groves is responsible for providing excellent medical care and support to our residents on a full-time basis, working Friday to Tuesday nights from 10pm to 6am. This individual contributor role requires a strong understanding of healthcare and medical procedures, impeccable attention to detail, and a compassionate and caring attitude towards our residents. The job is located in Goodyear, Arizona.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive pay rate of $20 to $21 per hour, paid biweekly. Responsibilities:
- Administer medication to residents according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Monitor resident health and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse or physician
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration, resident care, and any changes or incidents
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technology through ongoing training and development
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical Technician or equivalent training and experience
- Proven experience working in a healthcare or medical setting
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Caring and compassionate attitude towards residents and their families
- Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed
- Must pass background check and drug screening
