The Grove is Hiring a Security Greeter Near San Francisco, CA
The Grove is looking for a Greeter/Security crew member with a pleasant and outgoing personality who enjoys hospitality, collaboration, and can provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will be able to balance keeping The Grove secure and safe while also acting as a welcoming presence and guide to our guests as they come in the front door. You are the first person they see, so ability to make a great first impression is a must! We will be opening a full bar and this position is primarily afternoon & evening based.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to work a flexible schedule and are dedicated to a team-oriented environment. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, quick to problem solve, able to maintain and practice our safety standards, have good communication skills, be skilled at de-escalation, and reliable. Must be at least 18 years of age.
What you’ll be doing:
● Providing a physical, yet friendly, appearance at all times while offering genuine, visible hospitality and warmth.
● Welcoming, directing, and educating first time and returning guests as well as offer a kind farewell to all departing guests.
● Maintaining an orderly line while explaining the menu and chatting guests through the experience as they head inside to order.
● Assessing, controlling, and responding to any incidents as needed by The Grove Leadership, Management Team and Crew Members.
● Protect establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies.
● Cooperate with all team members (Front of House and Back of House) to deliver the best customer journey possible.
Will need Food Handler Card and Valid RBS Certification, Guard Card is a plus.
