Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Expo to join our team. As a Kitchen Expo, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for managing the timing and presentation of food orders, coordinating with the kitchen staff, and ensuring that each dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Chef, Owners, kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders to guests.
• Organize and plate dishes according to our restaurant's plating standards, ensuring each plate is visually appealing and consistent.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team, ensuring they are aware of any modifications or special requests from guests.
• Coordinate with servers and other staff members to ensure proper timing and delivery of food orders.
• Maintain a clean and organized expo station, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are readily available.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including slicing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Expo or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes to guests.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive and team-oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine and food presentation techniques is a plus.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. The restaurant operates in a bustling environment, and the Kitchen Expo must be able to handle high levels of activity and maintain composure under pressure.
