As a Residential Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being, happiness, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. You will lead a team of dedicated support staff and create a home-like atmosphere that promotes independence, inclusion, and community engagement and that the residence is a safe, healthy, and nurturing living environment.
At Your Role, You Will
As a Residential Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being, happiness, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. You will lead a team of dedicated support staff and create a home-like atmosphere that promotes independence, inclusion, and community engagement and that the residence is a safe, healthy, and nurturing living environment.
At Your Role, You Will
- Supervise and support a team of direct care staff
- Create and maintain reports and documents, perform assessments, and review data
- Participate in clinical team meetings
- Provide care to clients
- Develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
- Coordinate medical treatments and medication management
- Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Promote community integration and social activities.
- Maintain an updated and organized documentation and reports
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related human service field, or comparable experience in the field.
- Three years' experience working with individuals who have behavior disorders and/or developmental disabilities.
- One year supervisory or management experience.
- Must have availability to work some evenings/nights and some weekends.
- Valid driver's license and insured auto.
