We're seeking a passionate individual who loves to create delicious baked goods from scratch. As a Baker, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality muffins, scones, cookies, brownies, and other baked items per our recipes and standards. Your creativity and attention to detail can shine as you craft delightful treats that bring joy to our customers' day! We are seeking a committed baker in creating our daily staples, and general help wherever it's needed around the kitchen.

Responsibilities include 5:30 am baking muffins and scones and preparing pastry-case items. The ideal candidate will have previous baking experience, a strong work ethic, and a love for creating baked goods. Responsibilities

• Baker 5:30 start M-Fri, 6:30 start Sat/Sun
• Bake muffins, scones, and other goods such as cookies, brownies, pastries, breads, etc.
• Follow recipes to ensure consistent quality and quantity of baked goods meet our standards in terms of taste, appearance, and freshness.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, equipment, and storage areas.
• Recommend unique recipes to renew our menu and attract more customers (e.g. gluten-free or vegan desserts)
• Working to meet daily baked-good demands
• Be flexible and willing to assist in various tasks as needed, such as helping with basic kitchen and back-of-house needs

Skills

• Experience as a Baker, or similar role
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders, ovens, grill
• Understanding of food safety practice
• Experience with preparing foods
• Excellent time-management skills
• High level of cleanliness and sanitation
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
• baking experience preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
