Duties:

- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and serving beverages to patrons
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glasses and utensils
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register or POS system to process payments
- Upsell drink specials and promote new menu items to increase sales
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the bar area, cleaning equipment, and restocking inventory

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of patrons
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for accurately processing payments and making change
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink mixing techniques
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using a cash register or POS system
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Experience in banquet or event bartending is a plus
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is an advantage
